Support Services

We provide culturally responsive support to aiga and whānau as they navigate essential services. Whether navigating life or recovery, our community cultural advisors assist individuals in addressing complex life challenges, with a focus on respectful engagement, effective service navigation, and positive long-term outcomes.

Cultural Advisory

We support community & clinical sensitive claims referrals and partner with organisations to engage with cultural awareness — appropriately, effectively, and confidently. Our focus is to support Pacific Island, Maori and Ethnic communities.

How we walk with our aiga/whānau:

  • Navigating essential systems like Work and Income, Housing NZ, Immigration, and other services with cultural safety, patience, and compassion.
  • Providing trusted links to support —whether clinical or non-clinical, including health services, support, spiritual guidance, and community-based networks.
  • Bridging understanding between families, staff, health professionals, and community services to strengthen relationships and build trust with Dignity and empowerment.
  • Championing cultural identity, empowering individuals to stay grounded in their heritage, confident in their voice, and supported in their belonging.
  • Co-designing care and support plans tailored to each aiga/whānau’s goals and values.
  • Support and connection.
