New Migrants Programme: Aroha Dream
Starting a new life in a different country is a huge step. At the Auckland Dream Centre, our New Migrant Programme: Aroha Dream, ensures you don’t have to take that journey alone.
We provide a welcoming, community-led space where new migrants can access practical support, learn the Kiwi way of doing things, and connect with others who understand the experience of starting fresh in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Our goal is simple, to help you find your feet, build confidence, and feel a true sense of belonging.
How we support you
Think of us as your local guides.
Whether you’ve been in New Zealand for two days or two years, we’re here to help you feel supported, connected, and confident in your new home.
We offer:
- Settlement Support – Practical guidance on finding housing, securing employment, enrolling children in school, and navigating the healthcare system.
- Orientation Workshops – Engaging sessions to help you understand life in Aotearoa, from your rights and opportunities to everyday Kiwi culture.
- Resource Pack – A curated guide filled with essential information and trusted services, so you don’t have to search endlessly online.
- A Helping Hand – If we can’t solve a challenge directly, we’ll connect you with trusted partners who can support you.
- Community Events – Relaxed, welcoming gatherings where you can meet neighbours, build friendships, and find your place in the community.
